Sister Kathy Benham, IHM

Sister Kathy Benham, IHM is a member of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate
Heart of Mary, Immaculata, Pennsylvania. Her experience of the Spiritual Exercises of
St. Ignatius laid a strong foundation for her spiritual growth and formation as a spiritual
director, religious educator and parish minister. Her places of study include Immaculata
University, Creighton University, The Jesuit Center for Spiritual Growth, Wernersville,
Pennsylvania, Ignatius Center, Guelph, Ontario and The Upper Room, Neptune, New
Jersey.

Sister Kathy has served a diverse population of the People of God in Pennsylvania,
Virginia, Georgia and PerĂº. Although not totally bilingual in Spanish, Sister understands
the unique challenges and beauty of working with various cultures, especially In
teaching English as a Second Language to immigrants from various countries.
True to her IHM charism and spirituality, Sister Kathy is passionate and creative as she
greatly enjoys accompanying other seekers on their spiritual journey.
