Robert (Buddy) Kretzman
I am a spiritual director and supervisor affiliated with the Murphy Center for Ignatian Spirituality at Fairfield University. I was trained and received my certification in spiritual direction, the 19th annotation and supervision from the Murphy Center.
I regularly accompany people in spiritual direction and the 19th annotation and serve as a leader in St Aloysius Roman Catholic parish men’s ministry.
I have been married to Clare for 39 years and we have two adult sons and 3 grandchildren.
I retired as Chief Legal, Human Resources and Administrative Officer of a NYSE Company and served on its Board of directors after my retirement. I currently serve as Vice Chair of the advisory Board of the Murphy Center and serve on the Board and chair the Governance Committee of Food Rescue US a non -profit whose mission is to provide fresh food to soup kitchens and shelters through a network of volunteers.
I cherish and find deeply fulfilling the time spent accompanying people on their journeys to deepen their relationships with God. I also enjoy courses in Religious Studies and Theology at Fairfield University, physical fitness, a little golf which I am not good at, classical music, traveling with Clare and spending time with my family, particularly our grandchildren.
