Nora Blumenstein

Nora Blumenstein is a masters level social worker and certified 200-hr yoga
teacher from Philadelphia. After graduating from the College of the Holy Cross, she served with
the Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest in Sitka, AK where she began a career serving women.
Nora has provided case management and counseling to women overcoming domestic violence
and sexual assault in Alaska, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Belize. Most recently, she served
as Program Director for Soroptimist International of the Americas/LiveYourDream.org, a global
nonprofit serving women and girls overcoming poverty and violence. Nora lives in Portland, OR
and is nourished by reading, travel, yoga, and hiking and camping in old growth forests with her
partner and dog.
