Today’s Gospel tells us the story of Zechariah & Elizabeth who waited many years not only for their own child but for the Messiah.  Like them and like Mary also waiting, this seemingly barren little paper white bulb reminds me to wait patiently and in great expectation. I plant it on the first day of Advent and each day I see life slowly emerge as I wait in hope and reflect on what wonderful things The Lord has in store.

FOR NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!

Maria is a frequent visitor to the Center for Adoration. She is an artist, gardener, friend, beloved daughter of the Lord, wife of Joe for 53 years,  mother to her daughter, four sons and their spouses, and Nana to  eight grandchildren. Maria is very passionate about her ministry of Chapter Coordinator of a women’s Scripture Study at St. Thomas of Villanova.
