With the extended and worsened pandemic situations, there are lots of worries, fears, weariness, fatigue, and anxieties on our minds and hearts lately (including mine). When will this end? What will happen to us? What more loss could I handle mentally? What if my loved ones with higher risk suffer from covid? What if we never go back to the “normal” I knew from before? . But God calls us to turn to Him in Isaiah 45:21-22. “Who announced this from the beginning and foretold it from of old? Was it not I, the LORD, besides whom there is no other God? There is no just and saving God but me. Turn to me and be safe, all you ends of the earth, for I am God; there is no other!” . There are still so many unknowns and risks. There are still so many uncertainties with regards to our tomorrow. Yet, one thing is sure. One thing is certain. The Lord is our light. The Lord is our salvation. He Himself will walk alongside us as we go through the valleys of the shadow of death. HIS presence IS near to silence our fears and worries. IMMANUAL GOD is WITH us. Right here, right now.
