for very special afternoon for women religious.

Dr. Phyllis Zagano, a member of the Pontifical Commission for the Study of

the Diaconate of Women, will discuss questions surrounding the restoration

of women to the ordained diaconate as they relate to women religious.

Dr. Zagano is an internationally acclaimed Catholic scholar and lecturer on

contemporary spirituality and women’s issues in the Church. She is

currently senior research-associate-in-residence at Hofstra University,

Hempstead, New York.
