| All of our meals are prepared here in our kitchen in a manner that comports with sustainability and waste reduction. We do our best to provide wholesome, balanced meals for our guests. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water, cookies, cereal, and fresh fruit are available between meals. Additionally, a dairy-free alternative to milk is available. We regret that we are unable to create special menus for individuals and groups. Thank you for your understanding.
With a minimum of three (3) weeks advance notice, we can accommodate ONLY the following:
- Vegetarians
- Vegans
- Gluten-free lifestyles
We are unable to accommodate any requests made after 3 weeks prior to your arrival.

We are unable to accommodate any food allergies (including gluten/celiac) or food lifestyles and preferences other than those listed above (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free lifestyles).
Please be aware that St. Raphaela Center is not a certified gluten-free facility. Commercially packaged gluten-free baked goods are generally available, but cross-contamination is possible.
Additionally, St. Raphaela Center is not a peanut/nut-free facility. We are unable to accommodate nut free lifestyles and nut allergies.
While unable to accommodate food allergies or food lifestyles other than those detailed above (vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free lifestyles), guests with severe allergies or other preferences are welcome and encouraged to bring their own meals or supplements to ensure safety. We do offer refrigerator space, microwave oven, and a designated gluten-free toaster for guests who wish to bring their own food. The dining room is open 24 hours a day and generally available to all guests are beverages, fresh fruit, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, bread and cereals. Be advised commercial foods purchased and used in menu items may contain or come in contact with common allergens, including wheat, peanuts, soy, tree nuts, milk, eggs, fish and shellfish. |

| Please note that the typical arrival time for overnight retreats is between 4-5:30pm (Dinner is served at 5:30). Any arrival earlier than that time is subject to approval, and any meals prior to dinner carry an additional charge (choose the appropriate option above). We do not receive arrivals later than 7:30pm. |

| As part of the consideration for the use of the facilities of St. Raphaela Center at 616 Coopertown Rd, Haverford, PA 19041, and intending hereby to be legally bound, the undersigned organization and/or individuals (as indicated), hereby agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless St. Raphaela Center and the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and all of their members, officers, directors, employees, volunteers and agents from and against all claims, suits, actions, demands, charges, obligations, costs and expenses, or financial responsibility, including attorney’s fees and costs of suit, to which it or they may ever be threatened, exposed or found liable arising from or out of the use of the said facilities, or arising out of incident, accident, or injury occurring while the individual or group is utilizing St. Raphaela Center, including but not limited to actions regarding our health and safety guidelines in relation to COVID-19, or any of the acts or omissions of the undersigned or their agents, employees or members. This obligation of undersigned to hold harmless, defend and indemnify shall begin immediately upon notice of a claim and shall not require any actual loss to be suffered by the parties indemnified. |
