Our Common Home: A Season of Creation Retreat

As the Season of Creation draws to a close, you are invited to spend a weekend in the company of the land — slowing to its rhythms, sharing in its repair, and meeting the Spirit at work in all creation. Over three days together, we will plant the first young native trees and shrubs of a woodland still to come; make mandalas from the leaves, seeds, and stones the season has dropped; share unhurried meals; gather around the fire as each day ends; and close with an outdoor Creation Mass on the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Along the way there will be time, space, and quiet to notice the movement of God: in the land, in one another, and in yourself. All you need to bring is an openness to where the Spirit might be moving, and a willingness to work gently alongside others.
