Images of the Holy: An Evening Retreat 

Join us for an evening of praying with your eyes. Photography can be a profound way to expand prayer through the spiritual practice of visio divina (divine seeing). This evening will introduce participants to the practice of visio divina and guide them through the process three times, with three different images. Add color and creativity to your prayer life as we experience “eyesight and insight” (Margaret Miles). Jackie will share 3 images, giving participants time to pray with each of them. Participants are asked to bring a journal with them to the retreat and email one meaningful photograph of their own to Jackie prior to the evening at jaclynnewns@gmail.com.
