Every time we celebrate the Eucharist, we give thanks for the great gift of Jesus, as it is expressed in the memory of his life, death and resurrection. The Easter Triduum invites us to take a long, loving look into that “paschal mystery” as the foundation of our faith. The retreat will focus our contemplation of God’s great love in the “sacrifice” of the Good Shepherd, who “lays down his life for the sheep” (John 10:11); a sacrifice that transforms the Passover into a sacrifice of thanksgiving for the establishment of a new covenant – a covenant of love that transforms sin and death into grace and new life.
