Crafting with Soul: The Life in Christ Paper Flower is a unique and enriching creative workshop designed to nourish both your artistic spirit and your faith journey. In this workshop, participants will each build a giant paper rose while reflecting on aspects of Christian life petal by petal. As we work through building the flower, we will explore Holy Scripture, journal, and have discussion time to share our experiences with one another. This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to combine creativity with introspection, all within a supportive and uplifting community. No previous creative skills required. “Crafting with Soul: The Life in Christ Paper Flower” is more than just a crafting session; it’s a holistic experience that nurtures your creativity and faith, leaving you feeling inspired and renewed.
Shera Morris grew up in Alabama with a pastor father and an art teacher mother. Her household was equal parts creative projects and preaching. As a true reflection of that upbringing, Shera has owned several creative businesses and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Theological Studies. The thesis to finish that degree was titled Visual Arts in Ministry. These two worlds have always been combined for Shera and she looks forward to continuing to reflect the creativity of our Creator. You can find Shera on Instagram @whatshemakin where she’s making dinner for her family, decor for her home in Elkins Park, or dolls for her daughter.
