Back To School Retreat
With Lauren Finore, M.R.E., RYT-250
September 18, 2018
➢ Are you a parent of a child going to school for the first time i.e. PRE-K, High School, College, or somewhere in between?
➢ Is this the “most wonderful time of the year” or are you finding it difficult to re-purpose yourself as a parent and fill a void while your child is in school?
➢ Do you worry or have faith that your child is where they are meant to be spiritually, emotionally, academically and physically? Come experience a morning of reflection to pray for your children, meet other parents in similar life stages, and find support and peace for this new academic year.
Highlights of the morning to include: ⬧ Mass of the Holy Spirit celebrated by Father Dan Joyce S.J. from Saint Joseph’s University – a tradition among Jesuit academic institutions dating to 1548 in which the community gathers to thank God for the gifts of creation and salvation and to seek the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit in the coming year. ⬧ A blessing for your children. ⬧ Building fellowship among Catholic parents in similar life stages. ⬧ This day is intended for any parent with school age children. Homeschool parents are welcome!
