Art & Spirituality Workshop: Weaving Your Story
With Lisa Hibberd
March 3, 2024
Lisa will ground us in the spirituality of her own experience with weaving and guide us through the basics of creating with yarn on a loom. Participants will have two hours to weave and weather depending, will be invited to weave outside, incorporating found objects from nature into their design. We’ll close with a group reflection.
Lisa Hibberd is a licensed massage therapist and esthetician, a corporate drop-out, certified yoga teacher and Spiritual Companion. She was a designer for 20 years after attending the Moore College of Art and Design. After a serious back injury resulting in emergency surgery brought her to her knees, she has been called to a life of wellness and balance. She incorporates art-making into prayer and offers massage in quiet meditative stillness or through mindful movement on retreats.
*If you are a student, full-time volunteer or campus minister, please use the discount code ART when registering.
