Miriam of Nazareth: Cousin, Mother, Wife, and Disciple

“Fiat … so be it!”

With one word, Miriam of Nazareth—a young woman who belonged to an oppressed people in a small, somewhat insignificant town in Israel—welcomed God’s Son into her human body. She treasured the encounter with the angel Gabriel, nourished this God-Child, and became a faithful follower and promoter of the kingdom He promised to inaugurate. She is a significant person in bringing about the dream of God’s heart and God’s reign.

We will celebrate on the eve of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception through several conferences, solitude time, and sharing. Through scripture, tradition, art, and poetry we will expand our appreciation of this woman we often refer to as Mary, the Mother of God.

Cost: $45 (includes lunch)

Please note that for the health and safety of all masks are required at this time regardless of vaccination status.
