Sacred Stories: A Women's Retreat on Pilgrimage & the Church

Framed through the lens of pilgrimage, this weekend retreat will flow with soulful activities and intentional dialogue. During this season of living synodality in the Catholic Church, we are invited to bear witness to one another and discern our individual and shared vision for the role of women in the Church. We invite you to lean into community, meet St. Phoebe, explore the rich documents being generated by the Synod process, and join in prayer together.

These days of retreat will be framed by prayer, learning and witness. How can we pray for our Church in this time of Synod? How can we learn about synodality? How can we make space for women to witness their faith?

This is a Synodal Retreat for women. We will be listening and witnessing one another.

Retreat Weekend:

Retreat begins at 5:00pm Friday and ends at 11:00am on Sunday.  Retreatants will experience embodied prayer, small group dialogue, time for individual reflection and creative prayer experiences.  The retreat space will be opened to the public for a St. Phoebe prayer service on Saturday, where we will celebrate together women’s gifts in the Church.

Day Retreat:

Individuals who are unable to attend the full weekend retreat are welcome to join for a day retreat on Saturday, 8am to 4:30pm.
